Meet Kennny Gardner:Kenny entered the competition as Mr Central Louisiana, representing the people of his home state. He competed along with other men from across America in the categories of Private Interview, Talent, Swimwear, and Formalwear. The competition was held at the Wolf Theater, Clarion Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada on Jan 9-11, 2013.
Currently living in Dallas, Texas, Kenny is an Assistant Boys Basketball Coach, at a Prepatory Academy. He is also a model in Dallas where he has appeared in numerous runway fashion shows, commercials, internet ads, and catalogue work for such companies as Haggar, Academy Sports, Omni Hotel, JC Penney's, as well as a Michael Jordan commercial. He is also currently attending acting classes in order to advance his acting career. Kenny strongly believes that hard work, dedication, and determination are the keys to success in anything you do. "Nothing in life just happens. You have to be willing to make it happen for yourself. I thank God everyday for the gifts and opportunities that He has given me. I do my best take everything I have and use it to motivate others that I come in contact with. Life is not about what you get, but about what you are able to give!", states Kenny. America's Man of the Year (MOTY) is a competition designed to promote and recognize outstanding men on the national level.
